It’s an ode to impermanence and simplicity. Putting florals and food on a pedestal.

This series researches how beauty is always of a temporary nature. Flowers wither, food decays, moments of happiness fade away. And it’s this temporality that makes us appreciate them.
If one strives for a constant state of happiness, one might get bored by it. If our food always tastes extraordinarily good, we would take it for granted. If we would be surrounded by everblooming flowers, we would forget to notice them. Impermanence enables us to enjoy everything more. Tangible or not.
